Asset Reversal and Compensation Framework

Baggmania operates with a focus on technical precision and structural excellence. We understand that a physical asset may occasionally fail to meet your specific functional requirements upon inspection. This document outlines our protocols for returning items and receiving compensation, ensuring that every transaction within the Hong Kong region remains transparent and aligned with our mechanical standards. Our process is designed to be direct, removing the complexity often found in luxury secondary markets.

Return Eligibility and Structural Condition

To initiate a return, the handbag must remain in its original, unaltered state. We require that all internal structural supports, protective films, and authentication tags remain attached and intact. Because we utilize high-density saddle stitching and specialized leather finishes, any evidence of surface abrasion, structural sagging, or hardware oxidation caused by external handling will void the return eligibility. Clients have a window of seven business days following the physical delivery to notify our bureau of their intent to return the item. This timeframe ensures the leather fibers and internal bonding agents are not exposed to prolonged environmental fluctuations outside our controlled facilities.

Documentation and the PDPO

When processing a return, Baggmania requires specific identifying information to verify the transaction history. In accordance with the Personal Data Privacy Ordinance (PDPO) of Hong Kong, we manage this data with total confidentiality. We collect your name, original delivery address, and contact details solely to facilitate the reversal of the asset and the issuance of compensation. Our adherence to PDPO standards ensures that your personal records are protected against unauthorized access during the logistical return phase. We do not retain this information longer than necessary to finalize the audit of the returned item.

The Inspection and Audit Phase

Once an item is retrieved by our logistics partners, it enters our technical laboratory for a comprehensive audit. We check the integrity of the reinforced structural baseplates and the tension of the magnetic closures. This audit phase typically requires three to five business days. If the asset passes this mechanical inspection, we proceed with the compensation process. If the item shows signs of use or environmental damage, the return will be denied, and the bag will be sent back to the client.

Compensation via Cash on Delivery (COD) Reversal

Given that Baggmania operates exclusively on a Cash on Delivery (COD) basis, our compensation method follows a similar physical protocol. Once the return is approved through our audit, we coordinate a physical hand-over of the funds. This ensures that the loop is closed with the same level of transparency as the initial acquisition. We do not utilize electronic transfers or digital credits. Our courier will meet you at a designated secure location to provide the local currency equivalent of the original purchase price, minus any documented logistics fees.

Communication and Assistance

If you identify a technical discrepancy in your asset or require clarification on our structural standards, please reach out to our team immediately. We provide direct support for all regional inquiries to ensure your experience remains efficient and professional. Our goal is to maintain the integrity of the Baggmania ecosystem through fair and functional exchange protocols.
